You’re looking at a restored print from Johann Georg Heck's “Iconographic Encyclopedia of Sciences, Literature, and Art” published in 1851 by Rudolphe Garrigue, New York. We were extremely fortunate to acquire the full collection of illustrative prints from the series, which after many months of looking, proved to be very difficult!

Sizes: 8" x 10", 16" x 20"

Our posters are produced using the Giclee printing technique; Giclee prints are made using pigment-based inks. They have the sharpest detail and highest resolution, displaying a full-color spectrum. Giclees capture every shade of an original work.
